16 PHOTOS TO INSPIRE YOU TO VISIT HINTERHOUSE IN LA CONCEPTION, QUEBEC

I just came back from spending 2 nights at this beautiful Scandinavian Inspired property called Hinterhouse in La Conception, Quebec. It’s owned by incredible hosts and couple, Emily and Mauricio. It’s located only 90 minutes outside of Montreal and it is the perfect spot to unwind. There are so many things to love about this property.

First, the architecture. It is so unique and absolutely stunning! When you walk into the property you step right into the open concept living space from living room to kitchen to dining area. It’s airy, minimalistic and a breath of fresh air.

Secondly, there are 2 bedrooms and they both have plenty of functional storage space which is great especially if you plan to stay a while. The beds, one of the most important parts of a property for me, are so cozy and with the floor to ceiling windows you feel like you’re basically sleeping in nature. Heavenly.

Hinterhouse is also located 15 minutes from Tremblant which is one of the biggest tourist destinations in Quebec. You’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants and hiking trails in and around the area. For those looking for some extra relaxation time you can head to Spa Scandinave which is only 10 minutes from the house. We hit the spa on the way home and it was the perfect way to end our trip.

Before I let the photos speak for themselves one of the things I really loved is how quiet it gets. In the morning, you can open the big windows and let the breeze come through while listening to the birds sing. When all the windows and doors are closed you hear absolute silence. It’s the most beautiful thing. Although they offer some incredible wifi to keep you connected, this spot is perfect for disconnecting.
